the "save" button in foxit's toolbar is non-functional.. foxit-support told me that if i modify a PDF file, then the "save" button would become functional, but that doesn't seem to be the case.. i tried testing that by filling in some fields in a PDF file, but that didn't cause the "save" button to become functional.. regardless, i want to be able to use the "save" button to save PDF files that i open with "foxit", even when they have not been modified..
i am able to save PDF files that i open with "foxit" by going to "file"/"save as"..

hello, christina.. the form i was using was the "1040" form from the IRS website.. HOWEVER, i tried again, just now, and saw that the "save" button did become functional after filling out some of the fields in the form, this time..
the difference was that, before, i only filled out one field in the form, whereas, this time, i proceeded to fill out a second field in the form, at which point the "save" button became active..
still, i think the "save" button should be functional regardless of whether or not the PDF file is modified..

Ok. I've forwarded your requirement to our developer. Hopefully they will do some changes as you desired.

i noticed that the "save" button is functional when foxit (build 2.3) opens within IE..
