Cannot open some PDF file

I used to be very happy with FoxIt and removed the fatty acrobat reader from all PCs in my company.

I have FoxIt V.2.3 Build 3309 installed on a clean Windows XP system. When I try to open some PDF file, sample attached, the Foxit Update Manger will be popup, keep searching for an update and hung.

Any suggestion?

Does the update manager prompt you to download JPEG2000 and JBIG2 Image Decoders? If so, please download it here :http://foxit.vo.llnwd.net/o28/pub/foxit/reader/desktop/win/addon/fxdecod1.zip, unzip it and copy the file into foxit reader exe folder. This will solve your problem at this while.
