Hello all,
simplythere asked very interesting questions.
Let me renew the ask regarding Poland:
- will it display Polish coding (charset) properly (does it require compiled-in fonts into PDF or eSlick will also support system fonts with proper charset itself)?
- as a citizen of Poland, can I participate in preorder? (if so, should I contact local reseller for this purpose or preorder by Foxit website only)
Thanks
Krzysiek

Yes, Eslick reader supports Korean character. and Sure, you can join in the pre-order, but I think the postage out from USA will be a little expensive.:)

Regarding the international fonts, I'm very interested in what simplythere asked before, as the answer wasn't that clear for me. Is eSlick capable of showing chinese or japanese characters out of the box? Is it possible to easy implement some new fonts in the reader?
In other order of things I also happen to be a non US resident, living in Spain in my case. Could you give us an etimation on the shipping prices? Do you know if we would have to pay an extra price for this product in the border?
Thank you very much! And keep the good work!

Thanks for your interest in Foxit eSlick.
1. Is eSlick capable of showing chinese or japanese characters out of the box?
---eSilck reader is able to show Chinese and Japanese characters. I hope I answer you.
2. Is it possible to easy implement some new fonts in the reader?
-- I don't know in what way you want to implement the fonts. But with eSlick, you will have Foxit Creator. You can use Foxit Creator to embed fonts into the PDFs so you can view them even if you don't have those fonts in the device.
3. Could you give us an etimation on the shipping prices? Do you know if we would have to pay an extra price for this product in the border?
-- You can pre-order eSlick in Spain. And we are working on the shipping fee and tax things and will announce it on our website. Please sign up eSlick newsletter on our website (http://www.foxitsoftware.com/mailinglist/subscribe.php), so that you will be informed all the newest information about eSlick soon.
