View Full Version : 【Suggestion】 Align scrollbar to the right-edge when maximized

When Foxit Reader is maximized, there's still a gap between the scrollbar and the right-edge of the screen. This makes grabbing the scrollbar tricky since you can't just throw the mouse cursor all the way to the right. Instead, you have to precisely aim for the scrollbar which takes longer and is more distracting.
I'd suggest eliminating this gap as is done in Firefox. It makes a world of difference for users who have a mouse without a scroll-wheel.

I just want to second this suggestion. It's a huge deal for some people. I downloaded Foxit and found it vastly preferable to Adobe, except for the fact that the scrollbar isn't aligned with the right-edge of the screen. That made it so annoying and cumbersome to use that I had to go back to Adobe. I would use Foxit in a heartbeat if this one minor change was made!

Just some theoretical background to motivate developers: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fitts%27s_law
"Edges and corners of the computer display (e.g., "Start" button in the Luna theme of Windows XP and Apple & Spotlight menus of Mac OS X) are particularly easy to acquire because the pointer remains at the screen edge regardless of how much further the mouse is moved, thus can be considered as having infinite width."

Come on, they will create human level AI faster than you will move one scroll bar several pixels to the right...... This is so annoying........................
