I just upgraded to latest version and now I can not fill the PDF form. I downloaded and PDF form from http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-864A.pdf and fill out using 2.xx version exported the data in FDF. I think it was version after 2.31 because version 2.31 does not support all the features in the PDF I downloaded and it was not version 3 because I upgraded after I filled and exported form.

Version 3 opens the PDF and lets you write in the fill but as soon as you get out of the field it clears out what you typed. Plus, if I try to open FDF file that I have exported then some times it fills few forms and most of the filed will not have the data that were exported in the FDF file.

I hope to get fix very soon.

Thank you,
Mitul

Although I get the following message when I open the document, it appears that everything is working properly and I can verify that I am able to fill out the form with no trouble using 2.3.3309.
This PDF form requires a newer version of Adobe Reader. Without a newer version, the form may be displayed, but it might not work properly. Some form elements might not be visible at all. If an internet connection is available, clicking OK will download and install the latest version.I have received this or a similar error message on multiple PDF files over the years using Foxit, but it has never caused any trouble for me if I continue as usual after it pops up.

I am looking forward to the bugs getting worked out of Foxit Reader 3.0.xxxx.

Hello Boz, If you are using v3.xx, you won't get that message any more. But there are too many issues with 3.x. I can't upgrade until the issues are fixed.

I was having that problem. Here's a work around that worked for me. May want to try it.

Click in the field you want to change. Highlight all the text there (double click will usually do this) and delete it. LEAVE the field (this is important - you must exit that field), re-enter the now empty field and type in the new text. This time when you leave that field the new text should stick.

Worked for me anyway. :)
