Printing

I have version 3 installed on a desktop with Windows XP. When I attempt to print a document using the print icon on the toolbar, I have to double click to view the print box. On any other computer, I can do this with a single click. Is there way to change this?
Also, is it possible to remove the print box that appears when printing? I would like the document to start printing immediately after clicking the print icon on the toolbar.
