I can't change the following settings without admin privileges:
- Disable update check
- Set default view (e.g. Continous Facing)
- Disable advertisement
There is possibly more. According to Microsoft, and this has been around longer than Vista, you are supposed to write user configuration in the user's profile, a common location for vendors is %APPDATA% (env variable for the currently logged on user's Application Data/AppData) or HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software. I have File and Registry virtualization disabled as well. According to Microsoft, you should not be relying upon File and Registry Virtualization to correct this.
I see there is a "FoxitReader_Preferences.ini" in the program folder, can you please make is per-user by moving it to "%APPDATA%\Foxit" or something similar?
