When I click on the X to close the Foxit Reader, it takes a couple of seconds for the program to close. Does anyone else have this problem? How can it be corrected?

Does this issue happens with all PDF files or just some special files?
If it happens with special files, please send us a PDF file sample with this issue?

Thanks!:1_18:

Same case here. It takes about 2 seconds to close down. This doesn't happen when I was using version 2.3, which closes down instantaneously.

It doesn't matter if a document is open or not, version 3.0 still taking its time to close down.

I'm using Microsoft Windows Vista 32bit.

My AVG antivirus detects it as a Worm/Autoit.DPQ

Are you sure the file is safe?

It doesn't matter what document I open. The reader always closes slowly. I am running Windows XP on a Dell Dimension 2400. I have 2 GB of ram with a Pentium 4 2.8 Ghz processor.

Hello crawford69, Did you save your files before closing Foxit Reader?

Hello pac-man, that tool is safe to use, but not know why it's detected as worm. In this case, not suggest you to use it. Just give us more computer info as crawford69 posted.

[QUOTE=christina;27261]Hello crawford69, Did you save your files before closing Foxit Reader?

There are no files to save. I just use Foxit Reader to view PDF files.
