Save or Crash

1) When opening some PDF's on-line, the prompt box wants a save or open.
2) If I chose SAVE, then I must do an open after saving to see it.
3) If I chose OPEN, then the file crashes and PDF file shows all white.
4) Why can we not simply open a PDF on-line instead of saving first?


NOTE: I have sent several CRASH LOGS, and have heard no response.

Thanks for your posting here.
1. which browser you are using? what's it's version?
2. If it's Firefox, please open Foxit Reader on your desktop to make sure it's Foxit Reader 3.x.
3. Could you please attach the crash log to this thread?
4. Please privide us any link to a pdf you have problem to open.

2) A sample file link is the first Foxit Manual (foxit.vo.llnwd.net).
3) The box allows for either OPEN or SAVE.
4) IF I open, then it crashes.
5) I must save before I can open.

You do not understand.
If I disable the Save/Open option, then I get the gray box saying it crashed.
Then the screen goes white and locks up.
I must use the Save/Open choice if I want to view the pdf.
So, why can't I view the pdf on-screen without saving it first?

Our tester team have tested this issue for many times based on the crash file you provided, but couldnot reproduce it in our end. They assume that is related to certain circumstances. Could you please reinstall your IE to see if it get help?
