Fixed resolution of snapshot tool

Hello,

I just changed my pdf reader from adobe to foxit and I am really satisfied till now. Only problem:

I need snapshots of at least 300 dpi resolution. I already found where to change the fixed resolution "Edit->Preferences->General" but if I change the resolution it doesn't work.

I always get pictures with a resolution of 72 dpi although the original pdf has a resolution of 600 dpi (I copy the pictures into gimp).

Is this a bug?

thank you for your answer. I've sent you a simple pdf-file "test.pdf" as well as a screenshot with 600 dpi (test.png).
