I've had this issue in the past and it contues to be an issue.
I just downloaded and installed ver 3.0.
The PDF displays correctly on screen, but when we print it to a HP LJ 5si printer the document comes out as an entire blank page. A big black rectangle, opposed to to normal text without graphs that appear on the original pdf.
I originally posted message abot this with ver 2.2 and was told it would be corrected in the next version. The issue remained in ver 2.3 although it was more sporatic, yet again it remains in version 3.0.

Using Vista ultimate, XP pro and 2003 server to the same printer produces the same result, although printing to an ooollldddd (old) Brother 4100 intelifax the document prints correctly.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom

Hello, Tom, We are sorry about that. Would you please send us printer info to process?
Please download a program from here:
www.foxitsoftware.com/tools/Getprinterinfo.exe
Run it>click Select Printer>choose the printer which has this problem>copy all the info listed there to us.

Hello, News comes from our developers. We could not reproduce this issue by our side.
Would you please send us a pdf file sample with this issue? Thanks!

Sorry for the delay in my response.
This is not pdf specific, but printer specific. I can take the same PDF that prints all black and try to print on a different printer then it prints just fine.
I woudl in the medical field so all of our PDF are restricted documents. I will try to generate a PDF that has no personal data, but I believe it has something to do with the printing function within Foxit PDF reader.
Thanks,
Tom

Thanks ttalley.

When you are going to print, can the page be displayed in the printing Preview area?
A sample would be better though it was suspected to be printer specific.

Sorry for my delay. I am unable to reproduce a document that causes this issue that does not have sensative data on it, but it does continue to be an issue.

When previewed the page is displayed correctly, in addition when there is more than one page to print the second page is occasionally printed normally. About 20%of the time the second page is not all black.
???

Thanks for your update.
Would you please use Foxit Editor to remove those sensative data on file and supply to us?
We do need a file sample for testing. Only based on your description, that's difficult to repro this issue.

I have been experiencing this issue also, although it only happens < 5 % of the time. For me, its document specific. The entire document prints solid black pages. If I open the document in adobe, it prints fine.

Printer = HP 5P Laser

Hi!
I need to complete forms with interactive fields. Occasionally, when I complete one field and move onto the next, the information I just keyed in disappears and I need to rekey the information. Sometimes when I position the curser back in the blank field, the information re-appears!

Finally, when I have completed the form and saved it, I try to print it. All the information can be seen on screen, but the prview shows blank fields and the fields are blank when the document is printed.

My PC is a Toshiba Satellite 350, the printer is a Canon LBP 3000; Foxit Reader is V3.0 1817
