Hi Everyone,

I'm using Reader 3.0.

I've found that if I leave the Reader open for several hours and I am in "Continuous" Page Layout mode, I can no longer scroll up or down using the arrows keys. The Page Up, Page Down keys still work fine. In order to get he arrow keys to work again I need to close the document and re-open it (I do not have to close down the reader, just the document).

Has anyone else seen this or know what to do about it?

Thanks

In that case, the cursor location is probably out of the document, you need to click back on the document, then try arrow keys.

Are you in this description?

Hi Christina,

I am certainly not "out of the document" when this happens. The document has the focus....and remember, PgUp and PgDn work fine. This happens on more than one machine, all running Vista.

I'm not sure what you mean by, "Are you in this description?".

That means 'are you in the situation that I described'. I know now it's not the case.

To make a testing, I have questions for this issue:
1. only in the Continuous Page Layout mode in your part -- correct?
2. how long at least do you leave the Reader ?
3. Would you please provide us a sample of the file? -- it happens to any files?
4. When it happens, even you click on the document, that doesn't make the arrow keys to response --correct?
5. Does this always happen after your coming back in Vista machines?

Thanks!
