Hope I put this in the right place, if not please forgive.

Got a corrupted pdf email in Ubuntu /Thunderbird.
Here is what happened:
Wife got an email from a 3rd party in pdf format running XP Pro and outlook express. The email was displayed correctly with no errors.
She then sent me the same email and I received it on Ubuntu/Thunderbird.
The text of the email was correct BUT Xs in check boxes were moved and
the report was useless.
I then had her send me the email again and I then read the email on Vista/Thunderbird. I have Foxit reader in this partition. The report was the same as on her puter.
Questions: Will Foxit reader work on Ubuntu/Thunderbird? Is there an addon
for Foxit reader in Ubuntu/Thunderbird? Does this mean that I can never read
a pdf file in Ubuntu with thunderbird?
As you can see I need some serious help with this problem.
Regards,

Partially answered my own questions BUT
downloaded foxit reader for Linux desktop.
version foxitreader10_linux_enu_i386.tar.bz2
Was able to read the email with it.
It was a Wind Mitigation Inspection report and has categories for the various inspections and boxes to put a check mark in.
These now were all empty making the report useless.
I tried editing the report so I could send an example but was unable to because of the pdf format.
I have gone as far as I can.
Hope somebody can enlighten me.

Hello Phenix,

Would you please send an example PDF file and relevant info to support@foxitsoftware.com? Please also indicate from BBS and related topic link. Thanks.. ^-^
