Foxit Reader 3.0 build 1506 (running on Windows XP SP3) has issues with text and images appearing upside down and scrambled on top of each other.
The document has embedded multimedia links, which are not rendered at all (not an issue, if Foxit has no support yet).
The document has the following information in properties:
Creator: Adobe InDesign CS4 (6.0)
Producer: Adobe PDF Library 9.0
PDF version: PDF-1.6
Page size: 16.50 * 12.50 in
Number of pages: 117
The PDF file in question is freely downloadable from
http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/node
It is the lite version (Adobe Reader 7.0 or newer) of issue 1 of the said online magazine.

hello, I can open the link successfully.
Please go to Edit-> Preferences...-> General-> Basic Tools-> check "Create links from URLs" with Foxit Reader.

Hello,
I have the same problem, when I open a PDF file, it shows two pages superimopsed on one, with text going both ways, left to right and down, as well as right to left and up ! So totally illegible. I have changed the settings as suggested above as well as downloaded updates etc.
Help !
I don't really want to install Acrobat Reader again, it's too bloated

1. a sample of the PDF.
2. a screenshot of the incorrect displaying.
Thanks in advance.

I am very new here, just loaded Foxit this evening. I have spent about 2 hours opening all of my PDF's and several on the web using Fire Fox, I am running XP Home and find the program extremely fast and precise. Hope the folks having issues get them fixed so they too can enjoy.

In addition, I could not find link in your file. Would you please give me more clues?
Thanks and best regards!

Hello Maggie,
I don't know what you mean by:
"In addition, I could not find link in your file. Would you please give me more clues?"
I attached the file you can also download from the url I gave.
Thanks for your explanation

When is this new version going to be released? I have been looking EVERYWHERE to find a fix to this bug, and I'm glad it's been caught!
EDIT: Apparently Foxit 2.3 doesn't suffer from this issue, so I will be using that until this is resolved.

Hi kotarak, our beta version Foxit Phatom renders the file correctly. If you would like to test it, please write to our support@foxitsoftware.com for this request. Thanks.
