I am yet to D/load & install the FoxIt PDF reader.My old ADOBE Acrobat Reader does NOT launch itself automatically when I try to/load any PDF files,it used
to all these days.It is set to auto-updates.What could be the bug, hence How to resolve the same.I generated the System Report from Acrobat GUI as follows:
Installed Acrobat: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 8.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe
Version: 8.1.0.2007051100
Creation Date: 2007/05/11
Creation Time: 3:06:38 AM,
Recently printer output malfunctioned and I am unable to generate printout's on my HP printer.After a full support from HP,I was asked to reformat my HDD & reinstall. ALTERNATIVE troubleshooting techniks is being solicited.

Open Windows explorer/Folder Options/File Type, find pdf in Extensions list, change to Adobe with Opens with line.
