Hi All,
I get the following error when editing text in a pdf.

"one or more characters you inputed don't match the encoding system of the font you used, please re-input."

oringinal text, "Robert Roberts"

attempting to change to, "Robert Robert And Jason Miller"

I can hit the change button all the way till I get to the "J" and then I get the error message. Any ideas would be helpful

Thanks

From Foxit Support:
Could you send us back the sample PDF file so that we can carry out investigation into it? All your files sent to us will be kept strictly confidential and for internal tests only.

Dear Foxit,

I have the exact error message in several PDF files. If I google the error message I only come to this thread..

Can you please help?

That's probably you are editting an embeded text. Embeded font currently can't be edited. To edit it, delete the existing embeded text, select the standard or Non-embeded font from the Font list, and input the text from the start.

Hope this helps.

To embed font to a file, you can use Foxit PDF Creator to embed it.

But with Foxit Editor, you can't edit the embeded font, you can only edit standard or non-embeded font.
