Good evening,
A few months back I switched from Adobe to Foxit Reader and was more than satisfied.
However, the first time I went to use the Click and Ship program with the U.S. Postal service I couldn't get Foxit to work, so, out of necessity I switched back to Adobe Reader.
I just searched this forum and found a few posts from 2006 and 2007 saying it was possible to use Foxit while printing USPS shipping labels and postage.
But, before getting rid of Adobe again, I am just curious if anyone currently is successfully using Foxit Reader to print USPS postage and labels? If so, what version are you using?
Thanks and regards,

Not know which which browser you are using. But please try Firefox with Foxit plugin to see if it works.

Hi christina,
I am running a Compaq Presario AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3300+, 2411MHz/1.93 GBs RAM, running Windows Xp Home, SP3., with Internet Explorer 8.
I was hoping someone using IE8 would respond and let me know how they made out when they tried to print postage using Foxit.
Thanks and regards,

Actually, this is a good question. Foxit uses USPS to send eSlicks. It DOES work in IE. All you need to do is once it is finished processing, nothing happens, so you need to minimize IE and you should see the print box behind IE.

I created an account on the USPS website. I tried to print a sample for a Domestic or International label within IE, and found no problem to print. Would your please make comparison screenshot to show what the correctness and incorrectness output shall be.
Thanks.

Good morning Erik and christina,
So, are you telling me Foxit Reader will successfully print shipping labels and postage within the USPS Click and Ship program?
If so, could you please go further in explaining what Erik meant in this statement:
All you need to do is once it is finished processing, nothing happens, so you need to minimize IE and you should see the print box behind IE.
Thanks and regards,

Any Foxit users who can say they use the USPS Click and Ship successfully?

Erik means when you click to print the postage, the print dialog box won't pop up to the top, you have to minimize all your desktop programs to access the print box.
Could you please dwell on how you could not print the postage? what's the symptom?

Hi christina,
Your explanation of what Erik was referring too is exactly what I was experiencing.
Thanks and regards,

I've also encountered issues with USPS click-n-ship label printing and Foxit. The process stalls after the PDF download, and Foxit displays an "Invalid or corrupt PDF" error message.
I'm using Firefox 3.0 and Foxit Reader 3.0. The label printing works fine if I switch to IE 8.
Are there any work-arounds for Firefox?

That sounds a broswer-specific issue. Please let me know the exact version of Firefox and Foxit Reader. We will take a testing.
Btw, except for the above, can your firefox always diplay the pdfs correctly with Foxit plugin? What's your operation system? Thanks.
