When converting a jpg (result of a scan) to a pdf, size is doubled or quadrupled!

Please navigate to Creator Printing Preferences/Genereal tab, enable "Compress images using lossy algorithm", and lower Image Resolution if quality is not your first choice. This will reduce output file size.
