How do I blank out a word?

I downloaded a blank schedule document, but there is one spot that isn't relevant for me. I want to white it out. I tried using the drawing tools, but they are all red.

Does anyone know how to blank out part of a document?

Click the graph you drawing, in the Properties/Path tab, change its Fill an Stroke color.
