I'm trying to create one file from multiple files. I'm going to File> Create PDF> From File and selecting the files I want to combine (three in this case). The program starts by printing the three files. The printer Foxit printer just sits and the only way I can clear the files is to reboot. Has anyone had this problem and/or been able to make this work?

Do you still have the problem with Phantom 1.0.0821? If does, please help to supply the following info:
1. What type of file you were trying to convert to PDF?
2. Any error message pop up?

I started the 30 day trial of Phantom and although it appears to have all the functionality that I need, there is a huge bug when trying to create a PDF file. I have many exisiting PDF files that I have to publish as one PDF file. I took the same steps as MarkM and Phantom locks up with a green progress bar filling about 60% of the status bar. Thinking that it was a "bad" PDF file I was trying to add, I tried a few different groups of files , all having the same effect. Can you advise if ths error has been duplicated and repaired. I am thrilled that Phantom is released, but will not buy it if this basic function does not work. Thanks for reading.

I don't know if this will help or not, but I printed to the Phantom PDF printer to create a couple basic PDF files. My goal is to combine both files into one document. I then started Phantom and then went to File>Create PDF>from file and selected the newly created PDF files. Same thing. Phantom freezes and I have to do a ctl/alt/del to end the processes. Yes, there was 3 identical Phantom processes running, each utilizing the exact same amount of memory. Strange. Please help, I really want this software to work! For the record, I am using Vista Home Premium. :1_30:

Hi Eraque,
1. If you were going to merge mutiple pdfs into a large one, please try Insert Pages under Organize menu. 'File/Create PDF from File' allows you create each separate file.
2. if you were creating other non-pdf format to PDF, and got freeze, please let me know what type of format and your operation system. If possible, please supply us a sample for testing. Please note, you might need to wait for a while when the progress bar halts at 60% or 80%.
3.About the '3 identical Phantom processes running'. I assume, you had been running Foxit Phantom plugin within IE. The processes will exit if the IE was closed.
