Hi, downloaded phantom yesterday. I’m an acrobat 9.0 user, a little fed up with it (upgrades crashes program, bad support, bloat, etc). So I decided to try out phantom and InFix.
1. Phantom is equivalent to acrobat, but none has the easy editing of text in place that infix has.
2. Phantom is MUCH faster and lighter than Acrobat. Some tools are (text editing as one) are very difficult to use, sort of counter intuitive.
3. I’ts cheaper

Now my problem: My main browser is firefox. When on www I do a lot of fast pdf previewing IN the browser using the pdf (or djvu) plugin. With Acrobat It works. With phantom it does not:
1. Installed phantom
2. Opened firefox, tried to open pdf, firefox freezes
3. Opened again, disabled (and deleted it in a second try) acrobat plugin, configed correctly application helpers in firefox options
4. Same result. Freeze.
5. Did the same process but inverse, deleted foxit plugin, enabled acrobat’s, pdf’s open in browser OK. Even with Phantom as system wide (vista x64) default pdf viewer. Now my system viewer for pdf’s is Phantom but I got to open in browser with acrobat.

System; Vista x64 SP2, Firefox x86 v3.5.2, Opera 10

Please any ideas?

Regards
Pablo
