View Full Version : Copy/Paste text problem

When I copy text from pdf and paste it to MS word, texts are duplicated.
For instance, when I copy/paste the text "Age-related", it appears as "Age Age- -related related" in MS word.

This also happens when I try to view pdf as a text file.

What should I do to get only one copy of the text, not a duplicate?

Thank you in advance!

I have a different text copy and paste problem.

When I copy text from a pdf journal article opened in Phantom and paste it into Word 2007 (in Vista) all the word spacing disappears.
e.g. This is how a phrase looks if I copy and paste it from Adobe 9.1:
"These intermediate forms indicate".
This how it looks if I copy and paste it from Phantom:
"Theseintermediateformsindicate".

I remember reporting the same problem to Foxit ages ago, with Foxit Reader.
Unless this problem is solved, I'll never buy Phantom.

Hi matey2,

For some PDF documents, this issue does exist. Can you also provide us with a PDF of this kind for taking a closer look at? You can send this file to support@foxitsoftware.com
Thank you.
