Given that I am running iFilter on a production server, and don't have a suitable test environment available, I'd like to know the preferred method to update to a more recent version (I want to fix the memory usage issues).
Can I simply install over the top, or should I uninstall and then install the new version.
There is no readme or information specifying this that I can find.
