I recently bought Phantom and it's great for most part. But and this is a big one for me, I cannot import my signature with a transparent background into Phantom. I did some search on previous forums and this had been discussed 4 years ago and it was promised to be taken care of back then!!!
As you guys are aware, GIF, PNG, PSD, etc (but not JPEG) files support transparency. This is really important when one inserts an image or an image of a signature into a document so that the background would not cover the text or lines in the existing document. In Phantom and under Stamps, only GIF is supported that can retain transparency which is fine. The problem is that Phantom does not respect transparent pixles of the image. I have been messing with this for hours and tweaking the image file in Photoshop but once imported into Phanotm, it's either completely black or the image just shows up with nothing transparent and obscures the pre-existing text and lines in the document.
I have sent questoins to tech support and it has been a week and no answer from them! so much for support of their business flagship product.
Does anyone here know how to get around this problem? BTW, this feature works like a charm in Acrobat pro and the images I referred above import prefectly on a friend's computer that runs Acrobat pro.
Thanks,
