Hi,

sorry for my bad english.

PDF Reader does not show the right fonts in a pdf.
For example the arial font, size 14, fat.
In the pdf there is a completley different font.

Has anyone this problem and can solve it?

You are right, I see this, too.

Seems to be a bug :-)

Thanks for your report

This Document will not display correctly in 2.0 too:

Compare cover page, preface and page headings to Acrobat.

Hi,
This is what I read with Foxit 2.0 and Adobe.
Can you tell me your OS and the language and make a screenshot for me?

On my computer, j2d-book.pdf looks like this: http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/1264/fonttmsy3.th.gif (http://img101.imageshack.us/my.php?image=fonttmsy3.gif)

Font isn't italic and "TM" is written into letter "D".

OS: Winxp sp2 with all patches, german language

Hi all,
I think we have found out the reason.
It is related to this thread: http://ww.foxitsoftware.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=1577
Problem is caused by font mapping: systems other than English and CJK don't map families like "Time New Roman Bold" correctly, they always map to "Arial".
It has been solved in new version.
