Question: How do I get Highlight to work

I have downloaded the free foxit reader 2.0.0912. I understood that Annotation tools were available for non PRO users. Typewriter works but I cant get Highlight to do anything just get a funny faint symbol on the screen. What am I doing wrong? Is there a help file anywhere?

If you can make a screenshot of your problem, it would be really appreciate.
Please note that hightlighter would not work in image field.

Jessamine - thanks you have answered my question - my file is an image file. I have tested highlighting on a text file and it works.

However could Foxit Reader be improved to be able to add a highlight on an image file - as an extra layer?? It would be extremely useful.
