View Full Version : "Bug": Printing a 1-page-document in "multiple pages per sheet" mode impossible

I really like Foxit's ability to print multiply pages. I use it for printing university documents which take up too much space and can still be read perfectly with, say, two pages on one sheet of paper.

However, there are some document which only have one page. Still, I want this one page to take up the space of only half a sheet of paper. That's because I usually print 2x1 pages on a landscape sheet of paper. Now suddenly, if there is one file in between which only has one page, I would like it to have exactly the same format as the rest of my printings.

This doesn't seem possible with Foxit currently, since you can only select "multiple pages per sheet" when you have more than one page. A "fix" for this would be very easy - just allow "multiple pages per sheet" to be selected no matter how many pages the current document has.

Hope you understand what I mean?

Does nobody support my request?

You can work around this quite easily by scaling the page to 66.67% and rotating the page for printing (or by selecting landscape in the printer driver).

That doesn't mean I don't support the request. If it can be done easily, then why not? But it may not be necessary. Try my method and see what you can do. Uncheck centre page too.

Thanks for your tip. It might be an emergency solution, but I don't think that 66.67% is the exact amount pages are downsized to usually when printing 4pages/sheet... Thanks anyway, better than nothing! Still, as I said, a fix would be easy and I can only recommend it.
