Actually, there are several problems with displaying data (author, subject, keywords...) in properties of a PDF file. Some are there from Foxit Reader 1.x, some problems are new in FoxitReader 2.x.
Problem 1:
Non encrypted PDF produced in OpenOffice 2.0
Instead of data there are weird symbols in Foxit 1.x and 2.x. After the data data are rewritten with A-PDF Info Changer or PDF Compress - they are properly displayed in Foxit (Adobe Acrobat Reader, and both of mentioned applications for changing PDF data, can properly see the informations in properties of PDF from the beginning).
Problem 2:
Encrypted PDF produced in OpenOffice 2.0
The problem is very similar to Problem 1, but here is one important difference. When the data are "rewritten" with PDF Compress (it is weird, because PDF Compress isn't able to really change data in encrypted PDFs) after that Foxit 1.x is able to read the data properly, Foxit 2.0 displaying some unreadable words instead (seems that the data aren't decrypted at all, it looks as encrypted data in the PDF source).
Problem 2a:
Encrypted PDF produced in BroadGun PDF Machine
It is similar to Problem 2, with one important difference. FoxitReader 1.x is able to read properly those data, FoxitReader 2.x displaying unreadable words, the same as in Problem 2 after applying PDF Compress changes.
I use English US Windows XP professional SP2 with all updates, the locale settings are Central-European (Latin-2).
