Now some erratic behavior has been traced to Firefox not being able to remember: Firefox 2.0, File Types (used to be plugins) keeps defaulting to Adobe on every restart. Foxit is the default on my computer. I use PDF download and have also installed that bat file to associate but still it won't let go of Adobe. And how I hate Adobe, let me count the ways...
