Hi,
I am trying to view a PDF file and have a problem displaying it within my browser. On particualr PDFs the pages of the PDF turn green and a message is displayed that says "This file has expired". I believe this is to do with some Javascript that the file contains (more likely to do with the webpage that displays the PDF. Using IE 6).
However when I save the file to disk and then view it within the standalone reader, the green pages disappear and I see the proper text on the page. Viewed as the PDF was intended.
When I go to print the file however the green pages are back (in the print preview).
Printing prints out a whole heap of green pages all with the same message.
However under the printing options if I select "Document" instead of "Document and annotation" the pages can be viewed and printed correctly.
So my question is this:
How do I turn of the annotation feature of FoxIt Reader 2.0?
I don't require annotation and would like it removed altogether (so that the green pages with the "expire" text do not display). The display of annotation seems to be the cause of all of the problems I am having.
Is there a setting that will disable the annotation permenantly?
If you require any more information/clarification or screenshots please reply to this post. If you have an answer that would be great too!
Cheers,
Dave
