I downloaded Foxit reader today. Per the Readme instructions, I put it in its own folder and set it as the default. Unfortunately, it won't open pdfs and I can't figure out how to uninstall it. If I try to delete the folder, I get a message about a .dll file in use. It does not appear in Add/Remove programs. :1_22:

Can you please advise? I can now use neither Acrobat Reader not Foxit Reader. I had hope for a better outcome for this add-on.

I would appreciate as quick a reply as you can muster--like maybe 30 minutes ago? :1_30:

I'm using Win XP.

What happens when you try to use Foxit Reader? I have it on three XP and one 2000 computers, and it works flawlessly for me on all of them. Maybe we can help figure out why it isn't working.

One quick solution for this problem is: try to download our self extracting installer by following the link below:
http://www.foxitsoftware.com/foxitreader/foxitreader.exe
If you are still unsatified, you can then go to Add/Remove program to uninstall Foxit Reader.

Actually, if you wish to delete all Foxit parts, you should quit the program first.

Also, could you tell us what kind of problem you are running into that could not read your PDF files?
