Does anyone know a version of this software that can print? After entering $46.00 in postage on the USPS site, I discover I can not print any of the labels - the thing crashes as soon as you click the print button.

Which printer do you use? Which file do you want to print? Please post an example file. thanks :)

There is no problem with Foxit Reader in general. There may be a problem with it on a specific computer or printer that could possibly be solved if you provide some additional information. Please provide info on your computer, your OS, your printer, and the version of Foxit that you're using.

I was very pleased with Foxit until, I too, tried to print a mailing label at the USPS site. The problem can be replicated at this URL: https://sss-web.usps.com/cns/sample.do?productCode=PRI. Hope this can be corrected.

Try this: before printing, select the "hand" tool first.

I'm having the same problem.
I hold down the Ctrl key when I click on "Print label" on Usps.com, and a dialog box pops up and asks if I want to open or save the .pdf file. I click on Open and nothing happens. Foxit PDF reader does not open (even if I have it as the default .pdf handler), nothing.
If I click on Save in that dialog box, nothing happens either.
If I don't hold the Ctrl key when I click on "Print Label", a bar says that downloading a file has been blocked. I click on that bar and click on "Download file" and a pop-up says it has to resubmit to load the file. I click on Resubmit, and usps.com says label has been cancelled and starts over.
Can you guys fix it? I really like Foxit but at this point I'm gonna have to reinstall that pig of a software from Adobe.
Thanks and hope you can check it out,
-Vince

Clicking on save works fine for me on Win2000. Clicking on open does nothing.

Another user suggested this in the forum below, it works for some reason - I had tried 3 different printers at work, none would print - in fact, Foxit would crash - but when the hand tool was selected, everything printed like a champ!
wierd quirk!:1_30:

This topic is a bit dated, but the problem still seems to be there. Like many other Adobe Reader Bloat haters, I came across foxit and tried to get it to work with USPS to print labels...and at first it looked hopeful, but then not..
Seems their site is sending the javascript command "this.print" which is valid and just help adobe reader automatically get you to the printer setup screen so its locked and loaded and ready to go. on Foxit, the first attempt, said it needed to get some JSP plugin from the foxit site and downloaded what it needed automatically.
After that, it would pop up the option to open the pdf with foxit, but gave an error about not know what "this.print" was. I assume that meant that it didn't support being sent directly to the print screen from a javascript command. This may be where the problem is.

In the meantime, I have been saving the file and opening it in order to print it.

I was able to print postage labels for a while without any problem -- when the download box popped up, I would choose "Open with Foxit", then, once open, would print it out.
Then the usps guys changed something a little over a month ago (or I updated Foxit?), now when I choose "Open with Foxit" I get an error box, but the thing still opens...exept now the addressee and the addressor is blocked in yellow. No problem though, it still prints in black and white just fine (no yellow blocking) after closing the error warning.
Now, they have a new feature called "SCAN forms", and, when trying to get that thing to print, will not even generate a download box like the postage. Calling tech support at USPSdotcom, he told me they have armies of programmers ( this is a government bureaucracy after all ) trying to make the postage and the scan form work only with Adoobie, and that I should count myself lucky that the postage prints at all.
Not that the "scan form" is necessary now that I know what its intended purpose is. However, I bet the dev team at foxit could prolly outdo the 1337 civil service fellaz...
Anyways, I'm kinda worried about updating to any newer version of Foxit for fear I will lose the ability to print the postage.

This is driving me nuts! Just singed up for USPS today and foxit reader is messing it all up and won't let me do labeles. The USPS site had charged my CC 6 times, and I still have no label. I upgraded to 3.0 and still issues. Is this RESOLVED yet?????
