Inserting tif or gif ?

Hi everybody,
I'm just testing the PDFeditor1.2 and would like to add a picture with a transparent background to my PDF document. However, only bmp and jpg is supported which does not allow transparency !!
Is there any trick to solve my problem, or is it planned that a new version allows tif or gif import ?

From Foxit Support:
We planned to add this feature to Foxit Editor. But we could not tell the exact date of the version release by far.
