I am evaluating Foxit for the purpose of annotating PDFs with text an simple graphics. It woked quite fine, but I have the following problem:

After saving the annotated pdf (with the evaluating-mark, I didnīt buy the pro-pack yet), I tried to print it.

Printing with foxit: everything is fine.

Using Acrobat: The annotations are shown on the screen but are not printed

Using Foxit PDF Creator (also evaluation-version): The generated pdf does not contain the annotations?!?

Does anyone know how to solve that problem? Do I have to buy the pro-pack first? (If it works I indend to buy it, but Iīd like to know it does first)

Kind Regards

Mario

Hi again,

why didnīt I find it before - you can choose between "document" and "document and annotations" in the print-menu. (That feature is the same in foxit and acrobat)
Unfortunately I canīt be sure everybody recieving my pdfs will understand that, so Iīd like to make the annotations to be a real element of the document. This should work by printig it as a new pdf (via pdf creator) - so I thought - unfortunately the annotations didnīt appear in the "new" pdf, regardless of selecting to print "document and annotations"

Does anyone know help in this point?

Kind regards,

Mario

pdf creator is used to convert other format files to pdf. You should not creat a "new" pdf file from an already-pdf.
