How to print 2 pages per sheet?

Xp service pack 2
paper size: a/4
As subject. I have not found a way to print correctly 2 pages, *horizontally*, in a single sheet. They always result 'stretched' (see examples).

the vertical print is ok, but useless.

Yes, this is a known problem.

Please try this: Go into your printer Properties and select "Landscape" format.
This should work.
