Hi there,

First of all: I love your PDF-Reader and use it very frequently with MiKTeX to check how the results of the parsing of my self-written files look like. But everytime I do this, i have to close and reopen PDF-Reader because there is no reload-button (like in IE, maybe with the shortcut F5) - at least i didn't found one.

Well, it still is a lot faster than e.g. the Adobe Acrobat Reader, but yeah, would be better with a possibility to refresh the file.

thx guys

Hey there,

I absolutely support "TheRealPlextor"s request. I also want to use Foxit Reader together with LaTeX, which seems to be a perfect match - except for the refresh/reload functionality. It would be perfect if Foxit Reader checks for a change in the document everytime it regains focus, i.e. I switch to the program via Alt-Tab or Taskbar.

Hoping for this feature soon,

Winne

Another vote for refresh from me (preferably on focus regain, and with remembering the location in file), for exactly the same reason, using LaTeX to create pdfs and struggling with reloading of the file to see the changes.

(UPD) But, on the other side, it'd be really useless, as the Foxit reader locks up the pdf file, making matters even worse, requiring to actually quit it to generate a new pdf, but I believe that problem would be too hard to tackle, to change the internal file loading routines.

Thank you all for the suggestion. It is on our developers' to-do list now.
