It would be better if the program simply informed that the file is damaged.

I have downloaded some pdf file from internet. And it has been downloaded not fully. It caused error in PDFReader.

I think you can try to download them agian. Or you may try a utility called Advanced PDF Repair to repair your PDF file. It works rather well for my damaged PDF files. Its web address is http://www.datanumen.com/apdfr/
