I just downloaded PDF Reader this morning and immediately hit two problems. The first I noticed was that each page flashed on and off many times before settlling down, and the second was that pictures were missing from some, but not all, PDF's. I upgraded my video drivers which made no difference; removed my drivers altogether and left just the XP default drivers, that stopped the flashing on and off of each page. I reinstalled the latest drivers and it is still no longer flashing, but photo's are still missing. I had a friend download PDF Reader and sent one of the PDF's I am having problems with, and it works fine there. I then downloaded PDF Reader Pro and PDF Editor and the pictures show fine in there. So, where do I go from here? Without having to buy the Pro version :)
Using XP Pro SP2 with 1 gig memory. Nvidia 128 meg Geforce4 MX440 video card with the latest drivers.
One other thing, assuming I get the above problem sorted, I notice when viewing with facing pages, there is quite a big gap between the two pages. If this was smaller, each page could be larger and still fit both on screen. Is it possible to alter that gap?
Edit: Never mind. The version I had downloaded was 1.2. The latest version works fine.
