Foxit reader 1.3 cannot display images correctly - image comparison.

The image squiggles when zoomed or displayed at 100% in Foxit reader 1.3 build 1111 with Win2000 (image-1, click image to enlarge.) Other readers don't behave this way (like image-2) on the same PC. However, when I install Foxit viewer 1.3 build 0429 on another computer Win2000 (same video card) with a high resolution 1280 x 1024 19" LCD screen the image looks perfect, much better than image-2 at any zoom levels. What are some ways I can to display the images flawlessly?

Problem solved! Turns out I need to install Foxit Pdf reader version 1.3 build 0429 to be able to display vector drawings/images with a correct resolution at any zoom levels - can be downloaded at http://download.zol.com (http://download.zol.com.cn/detail/5/42720.shtml) pdfrd-0429.zip (http://download.zol.com.cn/down.php?softid=42720&subcatid=53&site=3b)

Some suggestions for Foxit:

1) Archive a few good versions and builds of the PDF reader.
2) Make it accessible.

Thanks Simmy. I work on many PDF circuit diagrams and service manuals of TVs, video recorders and other electronic items. The latest versions of Foxit are literally unusable for these, with the circuits in some cases being totally illegible -and there are also print problems with these, they often print totally blank paper... I was having to use Adobe more and more to view such PDFs. Build 0429 displays and prints these perfectly.

Something has definitely gone wrong sometime during this year. Let us hope Foxit can find what it is, and why these two issues work so differently.

By the way I had a little difficulty working out which button to click to start the download on that Chinese site! It would be good if Foxit could keep archives of all their old versions.

Using Windows 98 by the way, may be significant.

Foxit Reader's current version might have a few problems for rendering quality for which we have fixed already and plan to release a new version soon.
Our developers are now working on the print issues, and will release with update very soon. We believe that Foxit Reader will better and better but not go from bad to worse becase we are working very hard, because we enjoy so many enthusiastic foxit supporters like you guys, and because we aim to be even better.
