Greyed out Text in PDF document

I have downloaded Foxit and used it to open several .pdf documents. I'm really impressed with its speed.

However, on every document I open, the text is gray instead of black. I've gone to Preferences and tried all the combinations I can think of to get the text black enough to read easily. I have been unsuccessful.

Can the font color be changed or is this the way text is displayed by Foxit.

Anyone help me with this?

I noticed the same thing and sent in a "feedback" report to the developers pointing this anomaly out to them. They replied and said they would be looking into this. Perhaps the issue will be fixed in the next build?
