Build 0708 displays some files worse than build 0704

The attached file 1.pdf was displyaed correctly by builds up to 0704
(and Reader 1.2), but in build 0708 only few lines of text show up.

The attached file 2.pdf is displayed as blank page (but in the
proper size and orientation). This was the case with Reader 1.2,
and most early builds of Reader 1.3, but in the build 0704 few
lines showed up, and now they are gone again. This file displays
correctly with Adobe Reader 7.0 and with Ghostview.
