Hi
We are evaluating PDF Creator. One of the requirements is that it must be possible to silently install it on client machines (Windows XP Sp2).
We are currently installing PDF Reader using group policies. This works great as the program comes in the MSI format.
However PDF Creator is an exe-file, which does not contain an MSI-file. We can accept that the program is not packaged in the MSI format (though we would definitely prefer if it was!), if there exist command line options which enable silent install.
I tried, from a shell, running:
foxitcreator_setup.exe /?
foxitcreator_setup.exe -?
foxitcreator_setup.exe --help
But they just start the installation GUI without giving me the list of optional parameters.
Could you please package pdf creator into an MSI or tell me how to perform silent installations?
Best regards
Andreas
