Hi,

I just tried to use Foxit Reader on Linux. It dies when I try to open pdf-files.
I'm appending to this message the contents of 'content.txt' that seems to get created when foxit crashes.

Please make sure that you have properly installed qt4.0 first

Qt4 is properly installed, I still get the ambigious "segmentation fault" error when I try to open any PDF file.

I compiled Qt4 myself, so I am wondering if I need to pay attention to a configuration command during compile time, like e.g. qt3support or printing support? Anything?

This error has been arround for a while, is there no effort to improve the Linux version?

I added a backtrace, which won't say much I guess, since there are no debug symbols compiled, still:

I am not too sure about this, but isn't libc the problem here?

Hi Bill,

Our Foxit Reader for Linux is still a preview version.
It might not run well on some Linux platforms.
Please wait with patience for the availability of a formal Foxit Reader for Linux.
Many thanks for your waiting.

And yes, I do have Qt4 installed properly, including some apps that use it.
