Is there any way to save the data inserted in a .pdf file with the file? I assumed that it would be saved with the .pdf file and redisplayed when the file was reopened in Foxit Reader V1.3 build 0104 but it wasn't. The file printed fine begore exiting but the data was lost when I exited.

Hi BobW. I am able to add text with the typewriter feature in Foxit Reader 1.3.1413 without problem. I can "Save" or "Save As" and reopen with the text retained (along with an "Evaluation Only" message added by the program).

INTERESTING NOTE:

1. The first time I used the feature, it did NOT add a message.
2. It *appears* that the text added by the typewriter is NOT visible to Adobe Reader. I suppose the PDF is not, per se, altered but rather only some kind of meta data or "tag" (I'm out of my league here) is added that only Foxit Reader recognizes.
