Hello,
Is there a way to clear the "recent files list" without editing the registry?
Thanks to all ...

Sorry, the only way I can figure out is editing the registry. Any guys here can share a tip with Cachito?

CCleaner (http://ccleaner.com/) has an option to clean program data, and Foxit is included.

Thank you, Boz and Jessamine.
I have v1.19.108 of CCleaner. The Foxit option wasn't added until v1.24.180. I've never been one to update programs that work well and cause no problems just because a newer version becomes available - I'd still be running Windows ME if the vendors supported it. :-)
I realize I can edit the winapp2.ini file but, until then, an easy work-around is to simply rename the folder (pdf1 to pdf2) where I keep all of my pdf files. Renaming the folder creates a different path. Now, when I click on a file in the "Recent Files List", Foxit displays an error message and then deletes the file automatically.

Here is the Foxit Reader reference for winapp.ini in CCleaner.
[Foxit Reader]
LangSecRef=3021
Detect=HKCU\Software\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader
Default=True
RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader\Recent File List
