When I open pdf-reader (1.3.1413) I find the markup and the help toolbar below all other toolbars, when there is room on the top line. I can move the toolbars to the top-line, but when I close pdf-reader and eopen it I find the toolbars back in their original place. (on the second line that is). I appreciate not writing in the registry, but still it would be nice if this setup-information could somehow be retained (ini file perhaps ?) When I tell pdf-reader I donīt want to see the help-toolbar anymore that information is nicely retaind between sessions.

Also saving the location where I left reading would be nice, so I can reopen it and wonīt have to browse to whatever page it was where I left off. In a paper book I would put a piece of paper between the pages to easily refind the location I left of, but now I donīt even have the possibility to add a bookmark ?

Also when searching for text I donīt get to search the typewriter text I just added ? is this a pro-only feature as well ?

Same Problem here, the toolbar settings aren't saved correctly. When I start FoxitReader, the icon for Typewriter and for Help are on a second line, with a lot of space between them, although they would easily fit on the top row (Screenshot (http://i2.tinypic.com/qn37sy.jpg)). Resetting the toolbars cleans this up, but the next time I start Foxit Reader, they are back on the old positions. This is annoying somehow.

Same toolbar problem with me, pdf-reader (1.3.1413) does not rember i.e. not accept positions of markup and help buttons on the outer right after being restarted - even there is a lot of space left. Astonishing, a position on the left side, to the right of the printer icon ist accepted and remembered.

For this toolbar problem, we have noticed and our testers are still working on to find a way to duplicate this problem. Yet, it happens rather randonly. All we know is that this usually happens when your pc have both standard version and pro version.
@Wazzup:Currently, we don't have the bookmark feature you mentioned. It has been in the list of our developers' To-do list.
Notes made by Typewriter could not be searched currently.

just a hint: same problem with me, german win 98 se, and only free version of foxit installed, no pro - also from the other thread on toolbar positioning there is no hint that this problem is related to having both versions installed, but maybe you are misled by the fact that ver 1413 free uses the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader\DockState_PRO registry key, previous versions used DockState or DockState_STD ...
however, positions are kept when the basic toolbar remains at the very last, but the alt-f8 arrangement ist lost?!?
