I have enjoyed using Foxit's PDF reader ever since I came across it, but in the last few weeks I've come across a maddening problem that is about to drive me back to Adobe. Often, at work, I type onto a few .pdf files, and then print them. What I'm finding out is that even though I am typing 2 or 3 sentences, and then saving the file, when I actually print the document, what is printed is an older version of that file, without the most recent additions. I've tried closing out Foxit and then re-opening it; even rebooting. I'm using the newest version of the pdf reader, 2.0. Any suggestions?

Sorry to tell you that Foxit's PDF reader is not availableto print the annotations right now.We are forword our developers to work on it.Please keep an eye on our next version in the future.

I thought psaulm119 was talking about the Typewriter.
If so, I've experienced a similar issue. If I use Typewriter to input data and print the document, then go back and revise the data and reprint, what is printed the second time is the original data, not the revised data.

Yes, that's what I was talking about. This typewriter function does work, but very inconsistently. I was hoping I could get a workaround, so I wouldn't have to go back to Adobe. I believe the release notes for version 8 say they have this functionality.

Hi psaulm119,
Thank you for writing.
Yeah, you are right. This is a bug of typewriter, which we are already aware of and is under fixing now.A workaround here may be: save edited file and re-open it and print it then.

That workaround doesn't work for me--nor does even rebooting, and then trying to reopen. Fortunately enough for Foxit (but unfortunately for me), Adobe's "typewriter" function is rather limited, in that in effect, if you didn't create the document, it is almost impossible to type onto it. Adobe alots this functionality based upon document permissions, which I surely don't have for this sort of thing. Since Adobe is no longer an option, hopefully this bug can get fixed soon. Thanks for the response. Other than this (and the fact that the use of this typewriter functionality places a small trademark on the pdf I type onto), this is a great program. Its very lightweight, does what I ask, and doesn't freeze Firefox. Keep up the good work.
