Hello

I am working in an application with scanned images. These are files (text) that were scanned as images and saved. What I would like to do is be able to use "Select Text" and copy and paste text from these images into another application or document as text (not as an image). Is there a way to do this?

What you need is a feature called OCR, which is under development now.

Is the OCR feature going to come as a plug in for Foxit? Is there a timeline for it? Does this mean that the "images" of text that we have now would go through OCR and come out as text?

Yes.
