Hi,
I'm evaluating Foxit Reader 2.2. We use PDF forms extensively and I'm having problems with all four of the versions we use.
Using a PDF 1.6 Dynamic or Static and a PDF 1.7 Static form results in a dialog box telling me that "This PDF form requires a newer version of Adobe Reader..." but the form still seems to work.
Using a PDF 1.7 Dynamic results in the dialog box and the only thing displayed is "To view the full contents of this document, you need a later version of the PDF viewer..."
Is a version of Foxit that can read PDF 1.7 dynamic forms (and not popup a dialog on the other form types) in the works? We'd love a toolkit and reader that can support this without having to sell our soul to Adobe.
Thanks for any info.
