Every once in a while a template file gets corrupted in a Microsoft or Corel product, and it makes things go a little crazy. Delete the template and the program will generate a fresh one so that it can start up properly.

Does Foxit have a template file? I ask because my toolbars keep resetting by themselves. Is there a file that I could delete, thereby, causing Foxit to generate a fresh properly functioning startup file?

Thanks,
I Am,

I also want to know the solution.

I do not always need FIND toolbox, then I closed it. But it would appear next time I run Foxit Reader.

How to Foxit?

Hello,

Sorry that I can't reproduce this problemh here.
Does this problem happen to same specific file?
Would you please send me(support@foxitsoftware.com) the files for testing?
Thanks much.

Thanks for responding. My problem occurs with any file. It also occurs when I simply open Foxit without opening a file.

Try this.

Open windows registry editor (type in "regedit" in START -> run... ).

Go to this key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader\DockState_PRO

Export this key and all entries to a .reg file.

Everytime you want to restore settings, just open that .reg file and settings will be written back to registry.

If it doesn't work, try to export full settings:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader
